Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 ESV

exciting

I have to admit that my excitement for today has nothing to do with the group that is coming from America at the end of this week, traveling to Bangkok or welcoming our third son in just over six weeks. My excitement for this moment in time is the fact that we now have a TV in our bedroom. This is a first for me, with the exception of dorm living. I was never allowed to have a TV in my room as a child or teenager (a rule that I will uphold for my own children) and even since I have been an adult I've only owned one television at the time and that one we have always kept in the living room. So when we moved to our new place and found that the last family to live here left a TV that they could not move. Stan kept it out in his 'man cave' up until yesterday. Since Stan will be traveling for the majority of the next two weeks until we leave he thought it would make life easier for me to be able to get the boys to bed and then hang out upstairs so if they needed me I wouldn't have to be up and down. Now let me explain mostly why this is exciting to me a) my bed is the most comfortable place in the world to me right now and b) all I feel like doing at this point is to lay down and watch movies. So this is absolutely perfect. Also we plan on spending most of the cold months upstairs, where it will be much warmer. So me and my boys will be spending time playing in their room or watching Thomas (or any other favorite) in my room. It's gonna be a fun snuggly winter of getting used to three boys. Anyway, for the next two weeks I will enjoy this as my way of getting rest and having some quiet. I promise to be excited about something a little more important in the next few days but for now it's the little things that make me happy.
